On 12 December 2014, China Resources Cement (Nanning) Limited ("Nanning Cement"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the China Resource Cement Holdings Limited, was honored with the Hong Kong Green Awards 2014 - Environmental, Health and Safety Award (Corporate) – Silver Award by the Green Council of Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Green Awards were first launched by the Green Council in 2010, with the goal of not only expressing appreciation to companies that performed excellent works on environmental purchasing and green office management but also encouraging such companies to further improve their measures on environmental protection in daily operation. The Council first initiated the Environmental, Health and Safety Award this year, which are designed to highlight the importance of maintain a green working attitude from the inside out. The Award has a set of strict evaluation criteria and is required to fulfill eight assessment criteria, including: (1) Business Operation (2) Policy, Strategy and Leadership on Environmental Protection (3) Management Processes (4) Operational EHS Programmes (5) Promotion, Training, Communication and Partnership (6) Performance Assessment, Checking and Consultation Management (7) EHS Management and Business Performance and (8) EHS Case Study.

Nanning Cement was established in November 2004 and owns two NSP clinker production lines and four cement grinding lines with annual production capacity of 3.1 million tons of clinker and 4.0 million tons of cement respectively and currently employs a total of 685 employees.
